Affordable Housing and Emergency Shelter

The CFR Commission invites members of the Bloomington community to come and speak openly about their experiences with finding and keeping affordable housing. This is the first of several town hall meetings on this topic and we want to hear from citizens who own or rent housing as well as those currently in temporary housing or emergency shelters.

We invite citizens from neighborhood associations, social service agencies, nonprofit shelter organizations, rental property owners, and other stakeholders are also invited for a well-rounded discussion about Bloomington’s affordable housing stock and the need for emergency shelter options.

Jason Carnes of the CFR Commission will be a guest Tuesday on Glass in the Morning at 8:08 to discuss the Town Hall Meeting.
