The MLK Commission announces its Web Design Contest for elementary, middle and high school students in Monroe County Community School Corporation and Richland-Bean Blossom Community School Corporation.  Contest information is at and
The deadline is Monday, Dec. 7. Students should answer the question “If Martin Luther King, Jr. were alive today, what advice would he give to President Barack Obama?” 
Text, graphics, art, audio and video may be used. Judges will consider relevance to the theme, quality and cohesiveness of design, graphics, organization, and ease of navigation. Last year’s entries are at
IU School of Informatics and Computing grad students will serve as judges. Winners will receive cash prizes and recognized at a reception at First United Methodist Church, 219 E. 4th Street, at 5 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 18, 2010.  All participants are invited to attend.
