Congressman Baron Hill held a roundtable meeting Wednesday at the main SCCAP office to hear reports on the use of economic stimulus funds in Bloomington.
Representatives from the Bloomington Housing Authority, the City of Bloomington, Monroe County and SCCAP gave Hill updates on close to $10 million in stimulus projects.
After the meeting, Hill met some of the 35 SCCAP employees whose jobs were created through funds from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.
We’ll have more on Hill’s visit tomorrow. There will also be a story in The Herald-Times about the meeting.
