The South Central Community Action Program (SCCAP) is seeking a Circles™Coordinator (CC) with a strong understanding of poverty and commitment to help families with multi-dimensional problems become economically self-sufficient.
The CC is the key facilitator of a community-based Circles™ Initiative. While managing and supervising staff, volunteers, and AmeriCorps members, the CC is also responsible for recruitment, training, and retention of circle leaders and allies. The CC will engage the Guiding Coalition in building a process to develop solutions to the barriers that make it difficult for people to transition out of poverty.

Requirements: B.S. in Psychology, Sociology, Social Work or related field, plus 3 to 5 years relevant work experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Excellent communication skills. Experience with nonprofits and public speaking is helpful. Bilingual preferred.
